Child, Youth, Adult & Family Counsellor

Becky Palmer is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Prior to becoming a counsellor, Becky served as a Pharmacy Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, giving her a unique understanding of the intersections between mental health, physical health, identity, and life transitions.

Becky works with children, youth, adults, and families and has a particular passion for supporting children through a child-centred, developmentally informed approach. She incorporates play, creativity, and connection to help children express themselves, build confidence, develop emotional awareness, and navigate difficult experiences in ways that feel natural and safe.

In her work with adults, Becky provides a warm, down-to-earth space to explore patterns, relationships, past experiences, and the parts of ourselves that can continue to influence how we feel and connect with others. She is trained in EMDR with both adults and children and integrates evidence-informed approaches according to each client’s needs.

Becky also brings extensive experience facilitating groups, providing clinical supervision and consultation, and supporting veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and individuals navigating trauma and other high-stress experiences.
